The Royal Mint Blunder
This is a rare error by the Royal Mint that you don't see very often, early in 2009 the Royal Mint discovered that they have release tens of thousands of the coins that didn't have the 2009 date on them. Now as you can see this coin has a date of 2004 But the Zero's are filed in & should not be, so this coin should have been scraped, but it slipped thought the net & was released into circulation until it came into my hands. I have not seen another coin like this one so is this humble 20p Piece worth more then its value.
